Data correction question

I had a data glitch this morning when the temperature “fell” to 0.9F (it was really about 69).

Of course, this messes up all the statistics and extremes for my station.

I think I can go into the July log file and correct the bad data, but what do I do then to correct all the extremes and records, and the daily record.

Brian has mentioned how to do this before, I think.

you can alter the all time record values by going to view > all time records and there is a “set values” button on that screen which opens another window allowing you to change values.

when you have corrected your log file you can then do “convert log files to graphs” to correct the graph data.

hi
yes, you can enter the correct value in the all time records
and yes, you can correct the graph line too, using the graph correct

i have some notes on that in the new help file, correcting bad data…
http://www.weather-display.com/WDHELP.doc

(which I am still working on (the help file))

OK, that worked (sort of).

Only one problem left … on the All Time Records, near the bottom of the list, I’m still left with “July minimum temperature” of 0.9F instead of what it actually is. I can’t seem to change that.

try clicking on reset max/min temp for current month , action reset selected all time records
