DANGER IN RE-SETTING

Hi Brian,

I have been unable (have not had the time) to peruse all records to regain lost data for ALL TIME records - surely there must be a one-step procedure for this.

I think the RESET buttons on a number of dialogue boxes should be a better protected (i.e. harder to operate)

I have inadverdantly keyed them on at least two occasions recently which seems to have the effect of cancelling all previous all-time records and begins again from the time of such RESET! I would have though that such a button would take all previous files into account in the calculating process.

Hi
one way to find out what the records were, maybe, is to view the averages/extreme web files.i.e weekrep.htm (before it gets updated) and this months av/ext file, August2004.htm, in the folder webfiles
try that maybe

I’ve been thinking about this for a while ----

Sometimes i get a jump (spike) in data , in which affects the ATR.

Why not print out the ATR when a record occurs
Hard copy is always the best

Or i get wd to create a backup of the wdisplay.ini file, which contains the all time records, when you to reset some of the all time records or enter your own all time records…and then have a recover/undo button even
