Dallas Semicondutor DS2438Z

Anyone have any ideas where I can find a DS2438Z ?? It’s a Dallas Semiconductor / Maxium battery monitor chip. Maxium isn’t expecting any until Feb of 2005 and I need one or 2 for a ultrasonic snow depth gauge that I am tinkering with. I sent email to Hobby Boards to see if they could spare 1 or 2 but haven’t heard back. I’ve tried DS, DigiKey and all the normal sources that will sell in small quanities.

Thanks

i think thats the one i just got working for use with the leaf wetness and soil moisture 1 wire sensors
(its has a very high resolution for volts…i.e like 0.0005mv it will show, for example)
nope, thats the ds2760 i am thinking of

I got a reply from Eric at Hobby Boards and it looks like he might have some for sale. Thanks for the input and I’ll let you know how I make out with the snow measurements.

Cheers

Another place to check is www.digikey.com
