Dallas 1-wire losing contact with DS9097 through USB....any ideas on why?

My Dallas 1-wire has been running for years. It is now losing contact with a DS9097 connected through USB after about 20 days of running. Restarting WD and/or the Dallas1wirereader.exe does not help. A full PC reboot works… for another 20 days.

The Dallas1wireReader just stops showing the stream of data.

Any ideas what could be happening?

Sounds like Windows USB Selective Suspend. . . but only every 20 days? :confused:

Thanks for the response and idea. I’ve checked these settings and USB Selective Suspend is set to “disabled”. All power requirements are set to “never”.
