Daily Weather Fire Index

I notice that the Graph of Daily FWI in FWI.htm shows the time of the last reading as, for example, 21pm. I suggest that the time be shown as “2100 hours local”.

example: http://apsn.awcable.com/weather/fwi.htm

it normaly ony updates at noon or 1pm, daily…

Why does the graph heading read “Last reading at 21pm 6/16” ?
I must be missing something…

mine says last reading at 1300 , seems fine.

Hello,

Should not the graph at the bottom reflect the values of above??
have a look at FIRE WEATHER INDEX
and you’ll see that the today value is not the same as on the graph… Is that normal??

have a nice day…

What I’m saying is that 13pm or 21pm would be better labelled as 1300 hours or 2100 hours. Normally, one does not use am/pm along with the 24hour clock. That’s all. It’s nothing too serious.

i have done this now in a new 9.80b vers

ok, i see whats wrong…i update the values for the graph file after I plot the graph
fixed now, will upload that version tomorrow

thanks for putting up with me guys!

Heck, Brian, I’d even buy my dairy products from you if I could!

Thanks for the fix.

is the aag baro working for you gee wizrard?

The AAG baro is working great, Brian. I’m getting good data without any spikes.

Thanks!

is that with vers 9.80c?
i have a new 9.80c there that should fix the fwi graph

I’m currently using ver 980a. I’ll get 980c now and give it a whirl.

i now have the new fwi graphic (the pointer) as a separate image (fwipointer.gif) that you can get wd to upload to your web page
in a new 9.80c version uploading now
(thanks to greg who took outt he outside white edge around the dial, and thanks to gary who provided the images)

Is the fwipointer.gif uploaded once per day at the usual fwi time?

yup, and that version is ready now
(just been down to the beach with the kids: lots of men o war jelly fish (blue bottles) everywhere!

ok, got the newest version. My kids and I encountered our first jellyfish while snorkeling off the Florida Keys a few years back. Scared the heck out of us.

I see you might have to pay flatulence tax on your cows, around 72 cents per. Interesting…

and that newsy item about the fart tax got half way around the world…amazing
nz signed the kyotal greement, and now i might have to pay carbon tax becuase the cows belch lots of methane
but then i have green grass that is a carbon sink… (grows 12 tonne DM per hectare a year)

Alaska’s State House passed a bill approving the sale of Alaska’s carbon credits. Seems it could gain us a lot of money and just in time since the hydrocarbon exports are slowing…

Funny about this global warming issue…one good volcanic eruption pumps out more greenhouse gases than many years of human output, including cows. What’s next, cap Hawaii’s continual volcanic eruptions?
