So, I foud some interesting things about creating a file with data inside to built Excel files afterward…
In my “customtext.txt”, I’ve written things like this “%currentpressureinmb%,%tempinmetric%,%mintemp%…” and so…
here is the question…
When I read the “customtextout.txt” file, I find this "1017.0,17.9
noone can help me ?? 
There’s a global setting - somewhere - to use or not use the “units” with the custom tags. I’m not near my Weather Display computer (it = at home, me = at work) to try and find that setting, but if you can locate it, that’ll solve this problem for you.
In other words, when “send units” is turned on, temperature will read

Brian’s away for a few days, but I hate to see anyone cry…
So are you saying you have tried all the temp tags and don’t find one that doesn’t include the units? (I guess if it was me I would have all the tags without units and let the user take care of them…) Have you thought of using one of the datafiles like clientraw.txt? Would a third party solution that automatically deletes the units from the data help?

SO, I went to the file you told me, but it doesn’t contains what I need to create tables which I can insert in Excel (to make graphics, archive, etc… that I publish on my website…)
Customtextout.txt is what I need, because I can choose which data I have to keep…
So, for this moment, I try to convert directly the data with units in an Excel sheet… But it’s a bit long way…
When you have a tag like “%currentpressureinmb%”, it’s a good one, without units… but when its something like “%temp%”…

SO, some news about my problem and its solution…
I try to untick 'include units" in the settings, it seems to work except the wind speed unit… I don’t know why, it’s written like this “22.2 kmh”, with unit…
Another strange thing : I asked WD to make customtextout.txt update every 15 mn.
When I look at the file, I can see each line of record twice… When the station is disconnected (computer shut down), it’s Ok, WD take it from the station when I connect it to the computer…
How can I avoid this ??

there are other tags that you could use that will not have the units in it
e.g
%avnodp%
%gustnodp%

Ok, in the “customtext.txt” I use this for the wind “%avgspd%,%dirlabel%,%gstspd%,%maxgst%…”
And in the “customtextout.txt”, I have this:“17.2,SSW,22.9,22.9 kmh SSW”
So, it’s the “%maxgst%” which gives the unit “kmh”…
For the second part, each update in the “customtextout.txt” file, I have some thing like this: “1010.0,16.9,12.5,16.9,11.8,16.4,72,16.6,SSW,16.0,22.2 kmh N,0.0,0.0,380.4,COUVERT,0.0, 0 %,734,11:00,04/10/2004
1010.0,17.4,12.5,16.9,11.8,16.6,71,17.2,SSW,22.9,22.9 kmh SSW,0.0,0.0,380.4,COUVERT,0.0, 0 %,762,11:00,04/10/2004”, you can see, I have the same record twice, every 15 mn…

I’ve not unit yet in the file “customtextout.txt”, and each record is written once and no more twice as before…
