Correcting Graph Data?

I need some help on correcting graph data. When I go to Setup, Graph Setup, Correct the Graph Data, and attempt to remove spikes in my barometer data, I ge t the following problem:
I set the start/end points, click on the barometer correction box, click Correct, the graph shows the correction, I click Save. When, I scroll the graph to find other spikes to remove, I see is the same data spikes I just removed.

When I click Exit and return to the main screen, I see all the same barometer spikes I just tried to remove.

What simple thing am I missing? (I always seem to miss the obvious!)

if its more than 12 hour old, then you need to use the >12 hour old graph correction setup section maybe?
also, though, if 12 hour old data, then graph only shows alternating data (odd then even minute), so maybe try editing a wider bit?

About 11 hours I got a spike in the outdoor temperature graph.

you will need to use the >12 hour graph…i.,e click on retrieve
then, yes, hold the mouse right button , then move the right of the spike, then release the right mouse button, then click on set start/end

then tick temperature correction, then click on correct, then click on save settings…
try also selecting a bit before and a bit after the spike…more than you think

Thanks, Brian, I’ll give it a try.

I also have trouble correcting graph data. I have followed Brian’s instructions but the spike doesn’t go. Hold down the right mouse button and gentle glide it to the right of the spike and release. Select barometer correctand then correct. Tried it about 20 or 30 times now and still nothing.

Did you click on set start/end button as well after dragging the mouse- you will see the start and end percent values change. I did it recently for a temperature spike which worked fine.

one question though - the spike still shows up in 24/48/72 hours graphs - should I have edited the log file to remove the error and recreated 31 day data again?

That fixed it for me Martyn - cheers.
I await any help with the answer to your question too. Plus… how do I correct an error older than a day? Using the scroll button only takes you back to the start of the current day.

which version of WD are you guys using?
as it should work ok, going back 24 hours
i have tested that
and it should correct the data for the graphs, any graph range
i tested that too (make sure you click on save)
try the latest version…

I’m using the latest version Brian (u).

Am I in the wrong section? I go to graph data, correct graph data and then use the scroll button. I successfully changed a spike for a few hours ago but I can’t go back to Nov 2nd (not via this channel anyway).

BTW, it’s great that you sorted the highest gust in the last hour within wdl!!

i will do some more testing…
but have to take the 4 year old to pre school now
