Having problems with uploading to my website, as I am getting the following code over and over again for each graph, etc.:
Connecting to FTP server.
Connected.
Disconnected.
301: Interrupted
I am still uploading to WU successfully. Also, WDL is not uploading.
Thanks.

I have issues with the ftp process once in awhile. Has only happened a couple of times since the first of the year. I start noticing that all ftp’s fail. Not sure why it happens or what causes it, but I reboot WD and that fixes it for me. It’s not the same error you’re seeing but I would try restarting WD and see if that helps. Did you try a google on the error message?
Dan,
Already restarted it and same error message displaying…
I will do the google search.
–Tim
I did a quick search and did find any exact matches. Could this be a problem with your ISP/Host? I would try manually ftp’ing to your host and see if that works. Do you have filezilla or some other ftp program you could use as a test?
Dan,
Yes, I do have FileZilla…I will give that a go.
Thanks.
–Tim
Sometimes using a program like filezilla will provide more details about what is going wrong with the connection/handshake.
Dan,
I’m almost 100% sure it’s my host (e-rice.net) for two reasons…
- FileZilla doesn’t allow me to log-on
and
- I am uploading radar images to my site and they haven’t updated since WD stopped updating
–Tim
Did filezilla give any clues about why it couldn’t login?
Dan,
After I enter the information to log on, it tries 5 times and each time it says…
Waiting to retry…
Connecting to blah blah…
Connected with blah blah. Waiting for welcome message…
Disconnected from server
Unable to connect!

Maybe a restart of the computer will work…
Every once in a while the internet won’t work and after I restart the computer, it works fine.
I will give that a shot.
–Tim
Nope, looks like that didn’t work.
I’m going to open up a ticket with Alan at e-rice.net.
–Tim
that sounds like a problem with the FTP server
or
try ticking use passive mode (or untick that)
or even try re starting/rebooting your router (as your IP might be blocked), or check your firewall…
I am having the same issue for the past 4 hours. It has to be e-rice.net. That is who I use.
Ryan
It’s the same error I saw several months ago. I resolved it by opening a trouble ticket with e-rice. They found a problem at their end.
I opened a ticket with E-rice.
Ryan
Well, it was e-rice.
I opened a ticket with Alan and he said it was most likely because of the maintenance.
Thanks for the help.
