on a sunny day my solar % starts out at 100% but slowly through out the day it drops even though it is still very sunny. Please check this out on ly graph at Crazydavesweather.com.
I know if i untick “dalylight saving in use” the it goes back to 100%.
Should the percentage drop through out the day or should it remain high?
I am usure if it is correct on VP. It says 278w/m2 at 5pm and the solar percent on WD says 68%.
first thing in morning the w/m2 numbers are low but solar % is 100. Sometime around 11am solar % begins to drop. The w/m2 number peeks around noon to 1pm with a value close to 700.
make sure your lat/long is set corretly in the sun/moon setup so that wd knows what to set for the maximum solar radiatio for the time of day to set the solar %
( you can see that number in the solar setup…keep an eye on that number (the max value for the time of day), as it should start off low, then increase as the day goes on

Sounds about right for this time of year where you are. The sun and moon data look OK on your webpage so I think the lat/long must be set OK too.
How well exposed is the solar sensor? Note that the % will not be very accurate at the beginning and end of the day due to the low sun angle and (most likely) not having a clear shot to the horizon (unless you are on the plains or a small island).
