How can put the Data from the Logfiles of WDisplay, into a spreadsheet? (l using Lotus 123).
and can you have, both, Heavy Weather and WDisplay, running at the same time?

the logfiles are text files ie *.txt
as lotus 123 works in a similar way to excel you should be able to open the text file and it should give you the option to check the colums before it imports the text file, works with excel
Lotus 123 will import the text logfiles. But you will need to edit the first row, since the column labels will not match exactly with the data in the columns.
Weather Display will also convert a text logfile to a csv file if you select Action>Import log files from other software>Convert WD log file to CSV logfiles. But the row containing the column labels are not included in the CSV files.
The column layout is:
day,month,year,hour,minute,temperature,humidity,dewpoint,barometer,windspeed,
gustspeed,direction,rainlastmin,dailyrain,monthlyrain,yearlyrain,heatindex
After just testing it out, it dosen’t look like the two progs can operate at the same time. WD kept functioning, but HW never recieved any data.

yes, you cant have 2 programs both using the com port at the same time
weather display can create a csv log file
and you can even get wd to create your own custom logfile
and there is also the ability to have wd create and update a MS access database file, and now, wd can even update a MYSQL database too
