Inserted into alternative dashboard, replacing the snow section.

ah, you noticed  such a great addition to my site, i will implement it in a couple of ways, such as an
extra weather banner, also in my menu side panel and i think it will be great for the mobile site…

again, thank you, updated an working…

Oh, before i forget, there is one thing that i can see being a slight issue, your probably
already aware of it, but when the wind speed and the cloud height text’s are showing
and the cloud height is around 600m its going to conflict with the wind speed text, its
close to it at present, 2 ways to rectify if both are needed (i would like both if possible)
is either, move the height text to the left some what or, keep the height text stationary.

You would get away with moving the cloud height text to the left with enough space as to
not look too clustered if you loose the space before the F or M, its currently like 600 m
but if it was moved to the left to fit it would be better showing as 600m (no space), after
saying all that, you may have added something in there that prevents it from overlapping
the wind speed already?

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I saw it on your link and yes I can move it if there’s a conflict.
Let me have supper quickly and I’ll get to work on it a.s.a.p.

No probs Rainer and no rush, enjoy your supper

Let me start by thanking Rainer with his contribution! This looks to be a very nice script that I can add to my site!

Mine is not working out so well…installation was fine but I always get “clear” from the metar even though my metar says otherwise. Anyone have any ideas?

I’ve got the latest V1.5 loaded and all options turned on to “true”.

EDIT: I do see that my WD clientraw.txt file (#49) says “dry”…??? Its been raining all day and the sky is cloudy… #-o

Michael

Hi Michael

It looks like your solar sensor is over riding the metar, which i think is correct unless night time
In your signature banner its showing clear (Sunny) so thats what your image will show

If you aint got a solar sensor, did you place the sun in your banner image yourself?

See my edit above…I need to see why WD says its “dry”…

Is it still raining or has it stopped?

It is off and on all day…but very cloudy.
I did notice that I’m not downloading a metar in WD…do I need to?

Ok trying this out now i like it, But i did see one problem could be in one of the settings not sure, As i use a UV & Solar sensor it shows the cloud base at 2209 and it is really 4408 ft according to Weather Display live. Any ideas?

If its not raining now then the Dry is correct (depending when it last rained)

I dont think you need to worry about the Metar in WD as i think the script itself collects it

Mine is out by only 130m, i aint sure where its getting the cloud height from, is it the Metar?

I have everything coming from the VP so not sure where it is getting the info from, as i told it to use it.

I think Rainer will need to look into it?

What triggers WD clientraw#49 to change the description?

I think its either Metar or Solar or Night cloud sensor depending on wich your using

If you have a solar sensor then it will being coming from that during the day, if you
dont have a night cloud sensor then it will be coming from the Metar at night, I think lol

Can the cloud-base script use data from WD and not from the metar data?
