Clientviewer 6.3 over a wireless LAN

hello all,
Anyone here using the clientviewer over a wireless LAN ?
I’m using the local file location.

When in range of the WAP (Wireless acess point) it all works good.
But once i’m out of range, (not all the time) i get a I/O error 53, and WD on the server crashes.

Thanks
Cyclone

where is the local file located
sounds like WD on your sever is loosing communication with something
anything else in programerrorlog

Thanks for replying.
Yes, my laptop(wireless) does loose communication with the wired LAN (i’m not gettiong the range with the 802.11g )
This is my program error log
ERROR: Access violation at address 0041ACC4 in module ‘WeatherD.exe’. Read of address 00000010 at time/date 8:45:11 AM 24/09/04

try, if not, having the web files location for the server, on the server PC
and then set the web files location on the client (i.,e the roaming pc), as that as the server
that way the server should not care if the LAN goes down, only the client pc will

also, same for the clientraw.txt file location, as set in the custom web page setup…make sure that is a location on the server pc (i.e the web files folder), and the the client pc is looking there for the clientraw.txt file

Welcome back
I don’t have Weather Display installed on the client, just using Clientviewer 6.3 and it is looking at the clientraw.txt over the wireless LAN on the server pc.
The server pc which has WD installed, has the following webfiles location
C:\wdisplay\webfiles\clientraw.txt

so when the client is out of range, and cant access the clientraw file, then WD on the server pc gets an access violation?
strange
