Can somebody tell me how we can conect the Client viewer to the
weather display software through TCPIP.
I would like to use the weather display software as server software,
so that the members of our ham radio club can conect through the
Client viewer software to the server.

Make sure that weather display is creating a clientraw.txt file. Then on the client viewer have it use http://xxxxxxxxx.clientraw.txt as the source of the data.

The cleint viewer is working only on the LAN.
We cant connect from a pc ,that is not on the LAN.

Clientraw.txt has to be on a machine that can be seen by the clients, if the main WD PC is not accessible by the world then you have to set up WD to FTP the file to a machine that is. “Viewing WD Data Remotely” in the online help should help you get it working.

The cleint is still not working over the internet only on my LAN at home
We did a test from a other location whit the client viewer.
ftp/ ipadres from the WD server computer /clientraw.exe
but nothing the port number 333 is not open we heve test whit the program (SUPER SCAN4).
We need sme more information or an adres that we can put into the client viewer from an other WD station for a test

one thing that should work:
in 10.10i
go to setup, control panel, meso map setup
then tick make my clientraw.txt file available to the internet
then you can access it, via the clientviewer, using your IP address (ideal if its fixed), which is reported as the 2nd IP adress in the client/viewer setup
i.e, the URL to use would be
http://210.54.101.172/clientraw.txt
in the clientviewer, which is currently my IP address (but that gets reasigned the next time i get connected to the internet)

It is working by the IP adress, but after a few minutes the WD program is
bloked.
The WD program gives a error, and i have to start the WD program again.Can you tell me what could be wrong ???

not sure whats wrong, i have been using that feature here overnight, and its oK
but i have not had anyone grabbing the data constantly like that
i might have to make it a separate prgoram…that clientraw.txt server
the other way, is can you get the clientraw.txt file uploaded to a ftp server, use the svg/real time clientraw.txt file upload facility, and then others can use that ftp server url?

Is it working OK?
For me, if the connection was lost (which happened with a power cut/lightning strike), the clientserver program crashed.
I.e, has it been stable for you?
You can also access any file in the webfiles folder with that program, and turn your PC into a web server!

It is working on my LAN at home ,but if we try to connect it from another place there is a problem .
First a thought it was the router but now the pc where WD is on, is completly free, now there are no gates bloked.
