Chat Room?

I was wondering if this software has a chat room capability?

Not at the moment. There are some integrations being tested, but as I’m running CVS snapshots of the forum code these don’t install easily. Once I get back into the mainstream of released code I might take another look.

Having said that, what kind of interest would there be in a chat facility?

come on. cool guys meet girls at bars, not chat rooms… i should know :roll:

for a while, myself, Sask, and Ciemon had a IRC room open, but no one ever came :frowning:

I think there are some users who spend a lot of time here, either trying to help others, or just keeping tabs on the pulse of WD. Having a place to gather, talk to other WD users, and perhaps help somebody through a problem, would be a nice addition to the site.

Just an idea I had…thought it might be useful and/or fun.
