Can WD receive emails?

Hi all,
I know I can get WD to send an email, but I am interested in getting it to receive emails and then possibly perform some basic edititing on the contents (remove headers etc) and include the contents on a web site.
For example IPS.GOV.AU will send email alerts of when it may be possible to see auroras (among other things). I would like to include that information on my website.
There are also other various organisations which will send email alerts, much like WD itself I guess which I would like to be able to receieve.

Depending on what platform you are using, this can be done with some simple Perl/PHP or even just plain ksh/bash scripts.

I know that WD can accept data from various sources, but I don’t think email is one of them.

Yes - I know, but what I like about about WD is that in most cases I don’t have to know how to program anything - it takes care of just about everything with the push of a few buttons.
Is there enough interest in such a facility in WD to ask Brian for an enhancement?
