Is there any setting in Weather-Display to tell it to ignore spikes in data that are obviously wrong? IOW, in the early morning hours today the temperature was in the mid-50F degree range. All of a sudden W-D shows readings around 4:00 AM of 8.4F degrees and then right back up a few minutes later to the mid 50’s again. Now, I know the weather in central Illinois is changable but that’s a little much even for here. This has happened a couple of times before and I know that I can go in and change the records but it’d be nice if the software would prevent it in the first place.
BTW, when I look at the historical data on Weather Underground it looks as if my station wasn’t sending any data to them from about 1:00 A.M. until 5:05 A.M. I don’t know what was going on then.
I’m running a LaCrosse 2010 wireless so I assume that some kind of electrical interference caused the spike but I’m just guessing.
