Can anyone help with W3C CSS validation errors.

Is there a CSS expert out there!

I have no idea what the error message is telling me so I would apreciate any help.

Look at this page,, and at the bottom of the page click on the CSS icon. The page validates with XHTML 1.0 OK.

Ignore the readings as the sensors are indoors at the moment.

That’s an easy one…

It’s saying that things like this:

scrollbar-face-color: #0066cc

Are made up values… the “scrollbar-face-color” should be a pre-defined value.

Now, if you wanted to make it a .css value, you could by:

.scrollbar-face-color {
color: #0066cc;

You would put this under the BODY tag … not in the same { } as it.

You need to do the same for the rest of the values…

    scrollbar-arrow-color: #ffffff;
    scrollbar-highlight-color: #eeeeff;
    scrollbar-3dlight-color: #000000;
    scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #000000;
    scrollbar-track-color: #eeeeff;
    scrollbar-shadow-color: #0066cc;

Once you have them declared, they’re good to go… you can remove them from BODY.internal as that is also wrong and duplicating information.
