Brian: What do these INF Files Record?

Hopefully, a simple quick question.

I am tidying up my WD installation in order to reduce the amount of data being backed up every day.

In the \datafiles folder there are various monthly files being created that have “vp” in them; e.g.

monthextrav2pXXXX
monthextravpXXXX
(X=month/year)

What do these record? And can they be deleted? (mine don’t seem to have any significant data in them)

for your station type, those files will contain the solar and UV data for the solar graphs
