While home pages are like wives (thank goodness we don’ t all like the same ones), there may be a best way to lay out something for a home page.
I know there are high school kids making a good living at designing and implementing web pages. My talents lie elsewhere.
Here’s the deal. Just having set up WDL on my ISP’s section that is called my web page, I’m hooked on showing these data, but I’d also like to bring the screen back on line with WD, too.
I think I’ll have to rename the index.htm file (and a thread in another discussion here implied that) for both the programs , perhaps something like WD.htm and WDL.htm, so that both can reside in the same subdirectory.
But is there a “best” way to do this, like having a index.htm that allows a choice between them (seems like extra mouse clicks to get where you’re going) or have WD as the main page, with an link to WDL on the first portion where the WD.htm is generated?
Perhaps this is obvious, but rather than spin my wheels for some time and then finally discover the answer, has anyone done this (and what’s your url so I can look at it) or hints as the best practice method of showing both.
