Background Image in FireFox

Hello

I have been trying to get my background image to work with Firefox. It works fine in IE. I noticed that several other WDL users are having the same result. Have any of you managed to solve this problem.

Thank You

Steve,

Try adding wmode as shown below:

<EMBED src=“wdlv4_15.swf?http://www.ai9t.com/wdlconfig_big_temp_no_indoors.xml” quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF WIDTH=“100%” HEIGHT=“100%” wmode=“transparent” NAME=“wdlv4_15.swf” ALIGN=“”
TYPE=“application/x-shockwave-flash” PLUGINSPAGE=“http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer”>

Glad I could help Steve

It seems that no matter what I do, the background in Firefox is short at the bottom, and WDL screen runs off the bottom of the screen. Perfect in IE 6 & 7. I use the java resize code to keep the image stable in IE. I also view in 1280X1024

Not short for me in FF2.0 but my resolution is a bit strange  1152 X 864…

Hallo!

The .JPG file I use as background are resized to 1280x960 and looks fine in both IE 6/7 and Firefox

Roelle

Thanks guys - on mine the image is short across the bottom, and the WDL buttons are almost under the bottom of the screen. Can’t seem to figure it out… :?

Craig

Craig,

May want to resize the image a bit as the properties indicate it is 1126 X 669… (I had two property boxes open and read wrong one initially)

-Bob

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh wait… My FF will display the image in two size configurations, one to fit window and one that is full size…

-Bob

Bob - I will try the resize suggestion. I know it is larger, but I did that to try and have the horizon and the guages fall in certain places so they were not conflicting and hard to view.

Thanks for the lead

Craig
