Finally got my webcam working and updating with Imagesalsa and WD.

However I don’t see the animatedwebcamday file on website. Is there something special that needs to be done to create this file or is it only created once a day?

Also is it normal for the Animated Web cam image on the page to only use the last 4 images?

Appreciate any help and suggestions.

go to view, web cam images from during the day
and then have ticked, upload this daily to my web site, under the whole day animation
as for numbers of frames for animated web cam image
it should be 7 by default
but you can change it , under control panel, web cam setup/view

Thanks for the info. dailywebcam.gif is successfully uploading, however I still don’t see the animatedwebcamday.gif (i.e. the whole day of animation). Does this only upload at the end of the day?

Also, I did chedk control panel, web/cam setup/view and I did not find a setting for the number of images for the regular animation sequence. The only setting I did see was to reduce the number of images.

I could send a screen shot of my settings if that would be easier?

thats the one have that set to 0 (default)

Everything seems to be working, I guess I am limited to those 7 images.

Also, how does WD determine when to update the animatedwebcamday images? Also how does it determine that animatedwebcamday images are every 1/2 hour and animatedwebcamday2 is every 10 minutes.

as for the time interval… i have that fixed…

i have fixed a bug with the data.csv file for image salsa in 10.18x
that was stopped image salsa from reading the data.
thanks to a user who found out what was wrong ( i was setting the seconds as milliseconds instead of seconds)
