Great! The text size issue really confused me but after looking at the code it appears that on some systems (it never did it on mine) the tage caused the text size to revert to the normal size. I added the text size to the of each of the sections and now it works. I don’t know why it did that and only in that section. Strange but it’s fixed now!
Be sure to read the instructions! There are a number of config changes at the top of the code and you will need to replace your ajax-dashboard.php and ajaxWDwx.js files. You will also need to add a few tags to testtags.txt if you have NexStorm.
Looking at your home page, it doesn’t look like you’re using the alternative dashboard script. That larger icon is part of my script and is not available in the original.
Hi Scott,
i know, i know but when i upload the alternative dashboard (i’m using the original at the moment) the current weather icon is small instead of large.
Why?
Thanks,
Yes, if you aren’t using the cloud base graphic, the display will be the outlook as before. I’m trying to figure out a good way to move the items in the colum around as the sizes for each are quite different and the effects on the rows will be large.
Do you have the larger graphics and does it start out large then switch to small? By default, if you use the alternative dashboard and the alternative ajaxWDwx.js you should be getting the large images. (even if you don’t have the large images upload, it should still stretch the images to the larger size) The only way it would revert to small size is if you didn’t have the new ajaxWDwx.js file in place.
Why alternative-dashboard doesn’t translate these words correctly?
The native code about original and alternative dashboard php file should be the same!
Edit: 22.01: Please, look at the attachment, is it possibile to do like the image?
The outside now part I can do if that column will not show snow or ET. I’ll add that into the beta. Moving the other column up isn’t easy as the room is needed for those that do use the NWS readings and other items you have shut off.
Thanks Scott!
I’ll wait Ken about translation issue.
Edit 23.50: What are the values in the attachment (red circles) days or hours?
Because how is it possibile to have 1281 heating degree days or 784.8 cooling degree days in one year?
Cheers,
Heres a few things that may help you understand how HDD and CDD work…
