All time records not updated since June

I searched the archive and found this topic:

http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php?topic=2752.0

which seems to be the same problem I’m encountering.

The alltime records on my webpage have not been updated since July 2003 (we have experienced records since then). My monthly records is also showing July 2003.

I checked the gif files in the webfiles directory and found that they are for July 2003.

I’ve viewed the alltime and monthly records using WD and it displays the current month and correct records.

I checked the wdisplaybackup.ini file and it has the correct records in it.

I set my time to just before midnight and allowed the computer to run (30 minutes). I checked my webfiles directory and the records files have not been generated. The ftp log shows that the files were to be uploaded but they didn’t get uploaded.

I’ve checked my upload times in the setup/units and it’s set for 12:10am.

I do not have a custom internet upload schedule.

I also noticed that starting after July, my windtemprain chart seems to have screwed up.

For July, I have windtemprain7, windtemprain72003 and wintemprainnew files. Starting in August, I only have windtemprain8 and wintemprainnew. Not sure if it’s related though.

The archived topic also deals with a problem starting in July 2003.

I’m running 9.95b (updated today).

Any suggestions?

I looked for my wdisplay.ini file but couldn’t find it, just the backup. Where does this file usually hide?

Steve

hi
its ok for me…
any errors under view, program error log?
email me your wdisplay.ini file from c:\windows or c:\winnt
and the wdisplayftp.reg file from the databack up folder
and zip and emil me the files:
month102003.inf (datafiles)
and
102003lg.txt (logfiles)

note, you need to have the averages/extreme updating routine enabled in the upload times setup too

I have 2 lines in my program error log:

Resetting rain daily value, day27
Resetting wind/temperature daily value, day 27.

I could not find a wdisplayftp.reg file anywhere on the computer nor could I find the 102003lg.txt file.

I did find the wdisplay.ini file and the month102003.inf file which I’ve zipped up and will pm you.

The average/extreme update routine is checked.

After some back and forth emailing between myself and Brian, it wa determined that my problem was caused by not having the option for logfiles (under setup, logfiles) selected.

Not sure how it got that way but after selecting it and waiting for the next update at midnight, my webpage records were fine.

A big thank you to Brian.
