Advice on solar setup please

What is the best way to set up for the solar sensor

1st Question

Should I adjust the temp reading for 100% at mid day in full sun so it just reads 100% and therefore what happens latter in the year when the temperature difference is a lot less or do I set for 100% when there is full sun hitting the sensor but is not fully above.

As the jar has only a black bottom the angle of the sun seems to make a difference.

2nd Question

what is the

you most likely will need to tweak it as the year changes
the tenth is for a fine tune…

Can anyone answer my first question??

I started with a temperature setting of 17C. I set my solar sensor in a jar temperature for 100% by tweaking the temperature setting at solar noon on a clear day. [June 21 is a good day if it is clear.] This took me about three months. Then I leave the setting alone. Occasionally I will verify the setting. Usually I do not have to adjust the temperature setting as the year changes.
