the VIS acurite data reader program does a good job of filtering out data spikes from the acurite sation
the paid version has the ability to update a .csv data file
vis18.csv
every 18 seconds with the latest data
I have added option now in WD to be able to use that as a data souce (have the acurite software set to use US units)
