After you get the filename set as described above, the current conditions icon on your main WD display, and select to upload to your site. Then add some html code to your datahtm3.txt file (or whichever you decide to use) similar to

Is there i site in NZ where this info is available?
Ta.

Same question as the last poster, except I live in Canada.

I did some searching and managed to find the metar for my area, but I don’t know where to find the “host name”, “directory”, etc. If anyone has a clue, please let me know.

teh 5 day forecast is a forecast from the NOAA server…i.e its for USA people mainly
the structure of the file to download is via state name, (2 letter abreviation) and then a zone number (see the xxxx notation in the setup screen)

but i do have provision to use a non noaa style forecast, where you set the start and end html code to search for the days of the week (which you can set)
it worked with the NZ forecast until they changed its location to a DHTML

Can i use the 5 day forecast in the U.K everytime i look at the manual and go on noaa site to find the code for where i am it seems to crash.I managed to get to have a look but cant find no uk destinations im trying to look for coventry.

no, your UK forecast will not follow the US Noaa directory style (and which uses annonymous FTP)
but instead you can use the HTTP download setup, and just enter the URL to download the file

Maybe take a look at these sites and see if they provide what you are looking for in forecasts:

Sorry, bored today and looking for something to do on my day off

Here’s a start on doing an http download of the 5 day text file for London Heathrow. You should be able to search the site and find the exact text file you want and then change the url on the download page to point to the file you want.

The URL I used for this is http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/education/betsie/parser.pl/0005/www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?world=4583
