3 hour Views show nothing

I noticed this the other day, but I didn’t pay much attention to it…

If i select 3 hour autoscale or 3 hour views, nothing shows on the graphs.

6 hour and above work fine.

I am using 10.20R right now. I will try 10.20Q now, but I didn’t see anyone else having this type of problem so I’m not
sure if it has been looked at.

you will see a floating point error under view, program error log
I have been trying to find out why…
and have done some work on that in the latest version

Didn’t look there… I just upgraded to R with the same result.

Yep… you are right…

ERROR: Floating point overflow at time/date 11:53:11 PM 12/29/2004

Opps… Just got a first rain of the day notice and it hasn’t reached midnight yet… strange…

We have had .76 inches today which is the most so far in a single day since I setup the station. Raining hard now (well hard for around here). time is still 11:56 on the PC and WD… I’ts not reset the rain totals yet either…

Never mind… If I restart WD it always does that… forgot about it. Apparently WD doesn’t keep track of the fact it has alerted on first rain of the day when it restarts.

if you try a right mouse click on the graph, then tick on 3 hour graph, after a few tries it tends to work…sometimes it does sometimes it does not…must be a clue there…i will do some more investigating
(its some maths error or out of range error)

i have done more work on the 3 hour graph, and I have not fixed the floating point error
in a new 10.20v, ready soon

(I narrowed it down to 1 line of code that seemed to be not being execured
so i shifted that line of code 1 line, and now it does work OK
weird

Scary might be a better description.

I dont do a lot of compiling anymore, but normally this is caused by a bigger problem somewhere else.
