1-wire Outside Humidity Sensor in Stationless mode

I’m struggling a bit here. i just replaced my outdoor temp sensor (which worked fine) with an AAG humidity/temp sensor. My goal is to use it for outdoor humidity. I have no formal 1-wire station, just a lot of 1-wire sensors. When I place the new sensor as Hum#2 or higher, it reads temp and hum fine. When I set it as “main” hum #1, it reads -4F and a frozen humidity (like the last Metar downloaded) when in stationless mode. Checking and unchecking the “use metar data” has no effect.

I’d really like to record outside humidity. Is there a way we can get the correct humidity and temp read as “outside” when in stationless mode? Alternatively, we could use a box like “Use humidity sensor #2 as main station humidity”.

I tried the AAD station modes and just got blank screens.

Thanks

hi
ahhh
wd is not expecting to use the main hum as your station humidity, unless you have a dallas 1 wire station

but what you need to do is go to the com port setup, and then tick, i want to use the dallas 1 wire hum as my main humidity
and tick the one above that too
try that

Man, I’m so stupid. I saw this last week, and said “I’ll have to remember to check this when I get a humidity sensor”. Then I ordered one, and spent 2 hours beating on the software mindlessly trying to get main humidity to read!!

Thanks for the quick help Brian!
